Panasonic Electronic Components Light Touch Top-Push Switches
Panasonic Light Touch Top-Push Switches provide high operability and are equipped with a top-position actuator (push plate). These switches feature a compact design, low contact resistance, high contact reliability, small bounce noise, and a sharp tactile feel. The light touch top-push switches are available in surface-mount or through-hole mounting styles. Termination options include gull-wing lead, J-form, leadless, SMD/SMT, and solder pads.
Panasonic Light Touch Top-Push Switches include the EVP-BT series, which features a 6.5mm x 6.0mm footprint with a 4.3mm height. These square, thin-type switches provide a long life of up to 2 million cycles.
The EVP-AD series features an open center space for LEDs. With a center space diameter of 4.2mm, the EVP-AD switch offers designers more LED options, including color, intensity, and consistency. This series is durable, making it especially ideal for automotive applications.
Additional Panasonic Light Touch Top-Push Switches include the EVP-AF series with a built-in actuator, the EVQ-PL series with an optional push-pull plate for improved actuation, and the EVQ-P0 series, which is ideal for frequent use as a mouse button. The EVP-BK and EVP-BL switches are IP67 rated. The EVP-3A switch has a 1.7mm height and J-bent type terminals, while the EVP-AS series has a 5mm height and J-bent type terminals.
The EVP-BD, EVP-0B, and EVP-CD switches offer a high operating force of up to 7N and up to 200,000 cycles of operation. The switches feature a metal dome and rubber dome construction, providing a sharp tactile feeling with silent operation.
