Infineon Technologies 2EDi EiceDRIVER™ Gate Driver ICs

Infineon 2EDF92xx5F/2EDS8xx5H/2EDF72x5x 2EDi EiceDRIVER™ Gate Driver ICs are 2-channel isolated gate driver ICs designed with Coreless Transformers CT isolation technology for robust operation in high-performance noisy half-bridges. The 2EDi EiceDRIVER devices support primary and secondary control of hard- and soft power switching topologies for exceptional power conversion efficiency. Using these robust 4A/8A source/sink dual-channel gate drivers, designers can increase efficiency in CoolMOS™ and OptiMOS™ MOSFET half-bridges.

With a low propagation delay of 37ns, along with highly accurate and stable timing over temperature and production, the devices can enable increased efficiency gains within and across galvanically isolated power stages or in multi-phase/multi-level topologies. The availability of functional and reinforced isolated drivers in different packages makes these devices well-suited for both primary side and (safe) secondary side control. Gate driver outputs have a high 5A reverse current capability and 150V/ns CMTI robustness for high dv/dt power loops. For slower switching or driving smaller MOSFETs, 1A/2A peak current product variants are available.
