The secure locking function of the locking connector requires significant force to unmate, making this series ideal for demanding environments subject to constant motion or vibrations. The MHF I LK locking connector is constructed from phosphor bronze with gold plating for robustness. The FAKRA connector features lightweight plastic, while the body is made with ruggedized zinc alloy and nickel plating. The contact pin is beryllium copper with gold plating. The FAKRA connector is available with the universal Z key code for wide-ranging compatibility and offers easy mating and unmating. Amphenol RF FAKRA to MHF Locking Cable Assemblies are offered in pre-configured lengths of 50mm to 400mm with 1.37mm cabling that is easily routable.
