TRACO Power 15WI/20WI/30WI DC/DC Converter Modules

TRACO Power 15WI/20WI/30WI DC/DC Converters Modules are high-performance DC/DC converters designed with the highest power density. These converter modules are available in 15W, 20W, and 30W variants that are encapsulated in a metal case with dimensions of 1.0" x 1.0" x 0.4". The 15WI/20WI/30WI DC/DC converters modules from TRACO Power have an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range and precisely regulated output voltages. The advanced circuit design provides high-efficiency and makes the converter modules more reliable and applicable in temperature ranges of up to +85°C.

Six new models are being introduced to the existing THN 15WI/20WI/30WI series with -A1 suffix that provides a 5VDC output and is adjustable up to 6VDC. The -A1 models enable optimal operation of any 5Vout LDO (Low Drop-Out) linear regulator. This is achieved by an extended trim function up to 6VDC ensuring it’s correct operation. The LDO will then eliminate almost all ripple and noise components and provide a clean 5VDC output voltage. Typical applications include mobile equipment, instrumentation, communication, and industrial electronics.
