TE Connectivity KHR500 (BUBBA II) 600A Contactors

TE Connectivity's KILOVAC KHR500 (BUBBA II) 600A Contactors are capable of handling inrush currents as high as 4000A and are hermetically sealed for use in hazardous or explosive environments. TE's KHR500 is configured as a single-pole, single-throw device and can handle voltages from 28V_DC to 1000V_DC and continuous 600A currents. Because it is not polarity sensitive, the contactor allows bidirectional load switching. An integrated coil economizer reduces the power required to hold the contacts closed to 320mA at 24V_DC. A single-pole, double-throw auxiliary switch supports 3A @ 125V_RMS or 1A @ 30V_DC, and low-level signals down to 5V/10mA.
