Skyworks Solutions Inc. SI3462-EVB Evaluation Board ensures IEEE-compliant classification, detection, and a reliable disconnect algorithm. The Skyworks Solutions Inc. SI3462-EVB features intelligent protection with input under/over-voltage lockout, current limiting, and short-circuit protection. Operating independently from the host processor, it includes a reset button and optional LED status signals for port status and fault events.

- No classification mode reduces the bill of materials for 15.4W operation and also for non-standard powered devices that do not present a proper classification signature
- Endpoint and midspan applications with support for either 10/100BASE-T or 10/100/1000BASE-T
- All PoE/PoE+ classification power levels

- Automatic or manual restart after various fault events are detected
