Power Integrations RDK-707Q Reference Design Kit
Power Integrations RDK-707Q Reference Design Kit demonstrates a 9.75W non-isolated buck power supply circuit based on the LNK3209GQ LinkSwitch™-TN2Q Automotive Switcher. The LinkSwitch-TN2Q Automotive Switchers are highly energy-efficient, AEC-Q100 qualified switcher ICs with integrated system level protection. These devices significantly reduce component count compared to traditional discrete solutions, making them highly reliable. The LinkSwitch-TN2Q Switchers support buck, buck-boost, and flyback converter topologies. Each device incorporates a 750V power MOSFET, oscillator, On/Off control, and a high-voltage switched current source for self-biasing.The Power Integrations RDK-707Q Reference Design Kit provides a non-isolated nominal output voltage of 15V at 650mA load from a wide input voltage range of 30VDC to 550VDC. Typical automotive applications include bias supplies for active discharge blocks within onboard chargers and traction inverters, pyro disconnect in battery packs, control power for HVAC compressors, PTC auxiliary heaters, and body control modules.
