Power Integrations RDK-506 Reference Design

Power Integrations RDK-506 Reference Design demonstrates a 1.44W non-isolated buck converter circuit based on the LinkSwitch™-TN2 LNK3204D/P/G Off-line Switcher IC. The RDK-506 Reference Design provides a 12V, 120mA output from an 85V to 265VAC input. The Reference Design circuit is a highly integrated solution with the lowest possible component count. No optocoupler or Zener diode is required for regulation. The RDK-506 features thermal overload protection with automatic recovery, <30 mW no-load consumption, >75% efficiency at full load, and <±3% load regulation.
