Microchip Technology EVB-PCI11400C Evaluation Board
Microchip Technology EVB-PCI11400C Evaluation Board is a demonstration platform for the PCI11400C single-chip PCIe switch. The board incorporates PCIe switching with an integrated USB 3.2 Gen 2 host controller and programmable I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO functions. Four USB-IF-compliant downstream ports provide direct access to the device’s USB host capabilities, helping developers evaluate the PCI11400C and accelerate its integration into embedded systems.
The Microchip EVB-PCI11400C Evaluation Board supports PCIe Precision Time Measurement for maintaining timing coherence across the switching function. An onboard I2C serial EEPROM provides board configuration and function customization, while regulator indicators simplify power-rail monitoring. The six-layer platform demonstrates PCIe, USB host, and programmable-I/O driver compatibility with Linux®, Microsoft® Windows®, and Android®.
MPLAB® Connect Configurator provides advanced configuration, programming, and diagnostics for the platform. Diagnostic support includes PCIe virtual eye-diagram visualization for evaluating PCIe connections.
