Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diodes

Littelfuse TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diodes are a broad range of circuit protection products designed to protect electronic circuits against transients and overvoltage threats such as EFT (electrically fast transients) and ESD (electro-static discharge). Lightning strikes, inductive load switching, and ESD cause electrical over-stresses associated with the transmission on data lines and electronic circuits. Offered in a variety of surface mount and through-hole circuit board mounting formats, the TVS Diode portfolio includes high peak pulse current and peak pulse power options up to 20kA and 30kW, respectively. Littelfuse TVS Diodes are chosen for the fast response time (low clamping voltage), lower capacitance, and low leakage current. TVS Diodes are available in both unidirectional (unipolar) or bidirectional (bipolar) diodes circuit configurations. 

AQ3118-02JTG Low-Capacitance TVS Diode Array

Littelfuse AQ3118-02JTG Low-Capacitance Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) Diode Array features a robust design that provides two-channel protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD) and lightning-induced surges. This device safely absorbs repetitive ESD strikes at the maximum level per IEC 61000-4-2 (level 4, ±8kV contact discharge) without performance degradation and safely dissipates 2A of 8/20μs surge current per IEC 61000-4-5 2nd edition. The AQ3118-02JTG features a low leakage current of 50nA at 18V and ultra-low I/O-to-I/O capacitance of 0.3pF. This TVS diode array from Littelfuse is AEC-Q101 qualified, PPAP capable, halogen free, lead free, and RoHS compliant. Suitable applications include automotive, USB 2.0 and 3.0, near-field communications (NFC), and ESD protection for RF signals, RF switching, power amplifiers, and antennas.
