Phoenix Contact Stand-alone IP20 IO-Link Masters provide connectivity to IO-Link devices both inside and outside the control cabinet. These units from Phoenix Contact offer easy web-based configuration and communication interfaces for EtherNet/IP™, Modbus TCP, and PROFINET. IO-Link is increasing rapidly as a standard for communications down to sensors and actuators. The protocol provides point-to-point communication using the existing three-wire connections. With this type of connection, a simple digital signal can be acquired, as well as the ability to activate additional communications to acquire additional process, configuration, and diagnostics data.
