Mouser-Sponsored Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing Team Celebrates First Place Win at IMSA Grand Prix of Long Beach
April 20, 2026 – Mouser Electronics, Inc., the New Product Introduction (NPI) leader™ empowering innovation, congratulates Aaron Telitz and Benjamin Pedersen of the Vasser Sullivan Lexus Racing team on their exciting first-place finish in the GTD class at Saturday's IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship race at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach in California. Teammates Jack Hawksworth and Frankie Montecalvo were running in the Vasser Sullivan No. 89 Lexus entry this weekend and worked their way up through the GTD field during the 100-minute race to earn a solid fifth-place result. The team has had two previous wins at Long Beach, along with three double podiums and three pole positions.
The 2026 IMSA season marks the eighth year Lexus and Vasser Sullivan have partnered together. During that time, the Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3s have earned an impressive 16 wins, 49 podiums, and 27 poles. They won the GTD PRO Championship in 2023 and the GTD Sprint Cup Championship in 2020.
The next round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship is the Motul Course de Monterey, May 1-5 at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
