Optek / TT Electronics OPB380/390-Z Series Photointerrupters
Optek / TT Electronics OPB380/390-Z Series Photointerrupters integrate an infrared LED emitter and a phototransistor (or photodiode) detector in a single molded package. These compact transmissive photointerrupters offer the flexibility of a custom sensor from a standard product line, enabling users to specify aperture widths, mounting tab locations, and electrical interface options, including PCB leads or 26AWG wires. The slotted optical switch body is constructed from opaque plastic to minimize sensitivity to external light sources, providing stable, non-contact detection of motion and position. Optek / TT Electronics OPB380/390-Z Photointerrupters operate over an extended temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, suitable for industrial and automation environments. With a standard 0.125" (3.18mm) slot width and choices of 0.050" or 0.010" apertures, these switches offer high-resolution sensing for diverse mechanical configurations.
