Texas Instruments TPS61372L Synchronous Boost Converter

Texas Instruments TPS61372L Synchronous Boost Converter is a fully integrated converter with a built-in load disconnect. This converter features a 1.5MHz switching frequency, up to 16V output voltage, 3.8A current limit, and a 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage range. The TPS61372L converter uses the peak current mode with the adaptive off-time control topology. The device can be configured in either auto PFM or forced PWM operation by the MODE pin connection at light load conditions. The TPS61372L converter provides a soft start to minimize the inrush current during start-up. This converter includes output overvoltage and thermal shutdown protection. The TPS61372L converter delivers a small solution size with a 14-pin WQFN 2.5mm x 2.5mm package. Typical applications include RF PA drivers, NAND flash, backup power, motor drivers, and optical sensor drivers.
