Texas Instruments LP8758-E0EVM Step-Down DC-Regulator Evaluation Module (EVM) demonstrates the LP8758-E0. The LP8757-E0 is a four-phase quad 4A output DC-DC step-down converter. The LP8758-E0 is designed to meet the power management requirements for low-power processors in mobile phones, network cards, and similar applications. The evaluation module features a USB-TO-I²C interface that supports a 3.4MHz clock rate on the I²C bus. The module also includes status indicators that show the status of the converters and convenient test points for all I/O's. The console application allows the running of scripts and can execute user-specified scripts.
