Texas Instruments ADC-PHI-PRU-EVM Adapter Card

Texas Instruments ADC-PHI-PRU-EVM Adapter Card is designed to interface the development platforms of the Sitara™ processor for the AM64x family (TMDS64GPEVM) or the microcontroller for the AM243x family (TMDS243GPEVM). The ADC-PHI-PRU-EVM Adapter Card also connects to more than 25 precision analog-to-digital converter (ADC) evaluation modules (EVMs) for communication, data capture, and software development.

The TI ADC-PHI-PRU-EVM Adapter Card routes the ISSG-PRU signals to the corresponding serial peripheral interface (SPI) and enhanced SPI (eSPI) or parallel ADC data communication interfaces. The ADC-PHI-PRU-EVM provides configurability through two jumpers that select between serial or parallel connections. The device also supports a user-selectable power- and signal-level conversion to match the required digital and analog supply-voltage levels of the precision ADC EVM.

The programmability of the Sitara processor ICSSG-PRU peripheral permits for high-speed data capture along with data preprocessing. Users can eliminate the extra MCU or field-programmable gate array (FPGA) on the board of a current design and start system precision ADC and AM64x and AM243x software development with the ADC-PHI-PRU-EVM.
