TE Connectivity ENTRELEC SNK PI-Spring Terminal Blocks

TE Connectivity's (TE) ENTRELEC SNK PI-Spring Terminal Blocks can be used as a push-in or traditional spring connection. Push-in mode allows direct one-step insertion of solid flexible standard wires with a ferrule, which is 50% faster than standard screw clamp technology. Using the spring mode, a screwdriver easily opens the spring clamp for wire insertion with no ferrule required. The screwdriver locks in the terminal block after insertion. TE ENTRELEC SNK PI-Spring Terminal Blocks offer a 20% larger marking area improving circuit identification and an asymmetrical design allowing an immediate visual check in case of reversed terminal blocks. Connection capacity ranges from 0.2mm2 to 25mm2 (26AWG to 4AWG).

Features

  • All certification testing performed with non-prepared wires, ensuring perfect connections with or without ferrules
  • Flat surface of the PI-Spring makes wire and screwdriver insertion smoother and easier
  • Dimensions, coating, and shape of the linking bar are designed for the lowest and most stable electrical contact value
  • Good electrical contact even in applications where vibration and shock are an issue, such as railways
  • Pulling strength exceeds IEC-standard requirements
  • Connection elasticity and design are controlled to ensure easy and safe insertion of both conductor and screwdriver
  • PI-Spring technology has passed aging tests (30 days temperature rise test and 14 days heat cycling test) guaranteeing long-term contact quality of the screwless technology
  • Stainless steel PI-Spring offers high corrosion resistance up to 1000 hours of salt-mist resistance

Applications

  • Industry and commercial
  • Solar
  • Railways
  • Hazardous locations
  • Marine
  • Waste and water
