TDK S14, S10, & S07 SIOV Metal Oxide Leaded Varistors
TDK S14, S10, and S07 SIOV Metal Oxide Leaded Varistors are engineered for use in communication systems, household appliances, and power supply units. These high-performance varistors are also ideal for consumer and power metering applications. TDK S14, S10, and S07 SIOV Metal Oxide Leaded Varistors are constructed using a round leaded varistor element, UL 94V-0 flame-retardant epoxy resin coating, and tinned wire terminals. All three variants are RoHS compliant.
The S14 varistors feature a 14mm-diameter disk, 130VRMS to 625VRMS operating voltage range, 4.5kA to 6kA peak surge current range, and 260pF to 440pF capacitance range.
The S10 series offers a 10mm-diameter disk and 130VRMS to 680VRMS operating voltage range. These compact, PSpice-modeled modules provide high surge current ratings up to 2500A and no derating up to an ambient temperature of +105°C.
The S07 devices have a 7mm-diameter disk and 115VRMS to 460VRMS operating voltage range. These compact, PSpice-modeled varistors feature high surge current ratings up to 1200A and no derating up to an ambient temperature of +105°C.
