STMicroelectronics STEVAL-DPSG474Q Digital Power Supply Control Board
STMicroelectronics STEVAL-DPSG474Q Digital Power Supply Control Board is based on the STM32G474QE microcontroller from the STM32G4 series. The STEVAL-DPSG474Q controls the power stage of converters needing high pin counting (PFC, DCDC, DCAC), or can control the dual-stage conversion (PFC+DCDC).The STMicroelectronics STM32G474QE microcontroller incorporates the high-performance Arm® Cortex®-M4 32-bit RISC core operating at up to 170MHz frequency, a floating-point unit (FPU), a complete set of DSP (digital signal processing) instructions, and high-speed embedded memories (512Kbytes of flash memory and 128Kbytes of SRAM).
The main connector embeds two sections for separate analog and digital conduct, with 32-pins and 68-pins respectively. The device supplies all the PWM control signals, sensing networks, and protection features required for various digital power supply applications.
The complete pin-count STM32G474QE solution, the sophisticated embedded hardware accelerator, and the powerful Arm core allow handling complex digital power converters like multilevel and multistage structures. Several connectors extend this platform's capability in terms of I/O, communication, debugging, telemetry, control, and protection features.
Full integration of the device into the STM32Cube environment and digital power ST firmware package support permits implementation and deployment of digital power converter control with a dedicated architecture and control features to evaluate several turnkey control structures. Additional embedded debugging features, such as LEDs and analog and digital test points, maximize the user's design capability.
