STMicroelectronics EVL-L98GD8 Evaluation Board
STMicroelectronics EVL-L98GD8 Evaluation Board is designed to evaluate the L98GD8 48V-rated smart power MOSFET pre-driver with advanced BCD technology. The L98GD8 flexible high-side/low-side configurable pre-driver drives NMOS and PMOS. The device can be configured as an independent eight high-side and low-side pre-driver, a two H-Bridge pre-driver, or two pick and hold pre-drivers by using SPI configuration and the jumper on the board. All channels are protected against short circuit, overcurrent, and over-temperature conditions. The STMicroelectronics EVL-L98GD8 board can be connected to the SPC56M-DIS, the Discovery+ board developed for the SPC563M64L5 32-bit MCU.

Required Equipment
- 4V ÷ 48V power supply, up to 30A
- SPC56 discovery board or microcontroller board that offers:
- SPI signals
- 12x GPIOs to drive the injector and ignition, and to monitor status channels and the enable pin
- +5V or 3.3V (VCC)
