SEGGER Microcontroller Embedded Studio Arm^® is a complete C/C++ development system for microprocessors and microcontrollers. This software can integrate critical elements and streamline the development process by eliminating the need to switch between multiple tools. The Embedded Studio Arm supports Arm^® Cortex^® cores and Arm^® legacy cores. This software offers tools, including a source code editor, project system, build system, debugger and flash programming, help system, and core simulator. The Embedded Studio Arm may be licensed to a J-Link/J-Trace unit. The license is stored on a J‑Link or J‑Trace, which acts as a USB dongle. This allows full usage of Embedded Studio on any computer by plugging in the J‑Link. This software is used in Internet of Things (IoT) devices, wearables, and medical devices.
