Renesas Electronics RX200 32-Bit Microcontrollers
Renesas Electronics RX200 32-Bit Microcontrollers (MCUs) provide a balance between power efficiency and performance. These MCUs consume 0.12mA/MHz current during operation and only 0.8μA in standby mode (with RAM contents retained). The RX200 MCUs feature 54MHz maximum operating speed of the CPU and delivers high performance of 4.16 CoreMark/MHz. These MCUs support an operating voltage range of 1.62V to 5.5V. The RX200 MCUs come with peripheral function modules such as the MTU2 16-bit timer unit with advanced functionality, RTC, 12-bit A/D converter, and temperature sensor. These MCUs include numerous hardware options to assist the implementation of functional safety that simplifies the process of obtaining IEC 60730 certification for electric home appliances. The RX200 MCUs span memory capacities from 32KB to 1MB and pin counts from 48-pins to 145-pins. These MCUs employ products designed specifically for applications requiring 24-bit Delta Sigma A/D converters, capacitive touch support, and hardware-based AES security functions. The RX200 Series is suitable for use in motor controller applications, electric home appliances, power meters, communication equipment, and industrial equipment.
