Phoenix Contact PoE Injectors
Phoenix Contact Power over Ethernet (PoE) Injectors are designed to supply devices in the field with data and power via a single cable. These injectors are available in the IEEE 802.3af, at, and bt standards, up to 60 watts. The PoE injectors ensure high system availability by offering shield current monitoring, galvanic isolation, and integrated surge protection. These injectors use galvanic isolation to electrically isolate the supply voltage and Power over Ethernet ports to offer protection against short circuits in the data cables on the field side. The PoE injectors support multiple connection technologies, significantly simplifying field cable installation. These injectors provide shield-current monitoring for diagnostics in the event of shield currents caused by EMC or potential differences. The PoE injectors can retrofit non-PoE switches with PoE capability. Typical applications include infrastructure, video surveillance, machine building, and production plants.
