NXP Semiconductors PF81/PF82 12-Channel Power Management ICs (PMICs) deliver proven, high-efficiency power management for advanced automotive and industrial processing. With support for power-demanding applications such as infotainment, telematics, vision, sensor fusion, and ADAS, the PF8x platform provides the reliability and scalability required for modern system architectures.  

Two versions are available to address different market needs

  •  The PF82 includes functional safety to comply with the ISO 26262 standard and provides a powerful and flexible solution for ASIL B (D) automotive applications.
  •  The PF81 is the basic version of this product, with power management and digital control, but without functional safety features, for systems that do not require ASIL B compliance.

 

The NXP Semiconductors PF81/PF82 is ideal for i.MX 8, i.MX 8X and S32V processor-based applications and suitable for powering Layerscape LS1043A and other high-performance processors. It offers four linear regulators and seven high-efficiency buck converters to power the processor, memory, and miscellaneous peripherals.
