NXP Semiconductor GreenChip AC-to-DC Solutions are highly integrated devices designed to enable low no-load power consumption below 10mW. These devices also reduce component count for a cost-effective application design and provide advanced control modes that deliver exceptional efficiency.

NXP Semiconductors GreenChip AC-DC products include efficient IC solutions for switched-mode power supply (SMPS) controllers intended for flyback topologies, automatic discharge for low power X capacitors, and synchronous rectifier (SR) controllers for switched-mode power supplies with adaptive gate drive.

NXP Semiconductor GreenChip AC-DC Controllers integrate a Power Factor Corrector (PFC) Controller in a multi-chip IC. Efficient PFC operation is achieved by implementing Quasi-Resonant (QR) operation functions at high-power levels and valley skipping at lower power levels.

Many AC-DC Controller ICs also feature integrated power switches. These devices reduce component count for a more cost-effective application design while providing advanced control modes for exceptional efficiency.

GreenChip Secondary-Side Controller ICs control synchronous rectification in a compact form factor. These "smart" solutions mitigate increasing power demands for designing more energy-efficient and cost-effective power supplies.
