Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPM54304 Quad-Output Step-Down Module

Monolithic Power Systems MPM54304 Quad-Output DC/DC Step-Down Power Module integrates four high-efficiency, step-down DC/DC converters, inductors, and a flexible logic interface. The module operates over a 4V to 16V input voltage range and can support a 9.55V to 7V output voltage range. The output voltage can be set via the I2C or external resistor divider. This device is ideal for field-programmable gate array (FPGA) power supplies, multi-rail power systems, and MCU/DSP power supplies.

MPM54304 employs a constant-on-time (COT) control scheme to provide ultra-fast load transient responses and minimize required output capacitance. The module has internal auto-compensation, which eliminates the need for an external compensation network. MPM54304 requires a minimal number of external components and is available in a space-saving LGA (7mm x 7mm x 2mm) package.
