Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP87190 Intelli-Phase™ DrMOS PMICs
Monolithic Power Solutions (MPS) MP87190 Intelli-Phase™ DrMOS Power Management Specialized ICs (PMICs) are monolithic half-bridge devices with built-in internal power MOSFETs and gate drivers. MP87190 PMICs achieve up to 90A continuous output current across a wide input voltage supply range. The TLGA-41 (5mm x 6mm) packaged MP87190 components are ideal for server and telecom applications where efficiency and small size are at a premium. In a monolithic architecture, Quiet Switcher™ Technology (QST) utilizes a proprietary circuit design to suppress voltage ringing. This technology limits the peak switching voltage to <2V above VIN, improving device reliability, lowering EMI, and reducing sensitivity to the PCB layout.
The features of the MPS MP87190 simplify system design. This device operates with tristate Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) signal controllers and features Accu-Sense™ current and temperature sensing to monitor the inductor current (IL) and report the junction temperature (TJ), respectively.
