Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP2348 Synchronous Step-Down Converters

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP2348 Synchronous Step-Down Converters are fully integrated, high frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down, switch-mode converter with internal power MOSFETs. The MPS MP2348 Step-Down Converters deliver a compact solution to achieve 4A of continuous output current across a wide input range, with excellent load and line regulation. The MP2348 implements synchronous mode operation for higher efficiency across the output current load range.

The Constant-on-time (COT) control allows a fast transient response and easy loop design, as well as tight output regulation. The MP2348 offers full protection features that include short-circuit protection (SCP), over-current protection (OCP), under-voltage protection (UVP), and thermal shutdown.

The MP2348 Step-Down Converters requires a minimal number of readily available, standard external components and is available in a space-saving SOT583 (1.6mm x 2.1mm) package.
