Mikroe MIKROE-3123 Boost-INV 2 Click

Mikroe MIKROE-3123 Boost-INV 2 Click is a DC/DC voltage converter device designed to achieve digitally controlled output voltage. This Click Board is capable of outputting both positive and negative voltages from a single fixed voltage input. Mikroe Boost-INV 2 Click consists of an integrated TPS65131 positive and negative output DC/DC converter that switches the output stages using a fixed frequency PWM signal. This click board features programmable output, high current output, soft start, high-efficiency, and complete load disconnect when powered off.

The Boost-INV 2 click board has two MCP4291 12-Bit DACs that are connected to the positive and negative voltage feedback loop of the TPS65131. This click board is assembled with two more auxiliary ICs, a switched-capacitor voltage inverter (ADM8829), and a high-precision buffered voltage reference (MCP1501). Typical applications include low-power audio, compact programmable split-rail power supply, LCD, and OLED displays.
