Mikroe Proximity 21 Click
Mikroe Proximity 21 Click is developed for high-precision proximity sensing and short-range distance measurements. The board is based on the STMicroelectronics VL53L4ED Time-of-Flight (ToF) proximity sensor, which has extended temperature capability and accuracy. The VL53L4ED supplies a field of view (FoV) of 18°, measuring distances from 1mm up to 1300mm in standard conditions and up to 1150mm in extended temperature environments. The device offers dependable performance even in ambient light conditions up to 5klx.The Mikroe Proximity 21 Click features a unique Click Snap format, making the main IC area portable for versatile implementation. The board is excellent for applications such as industrial automation, robotics, security systems, smart lighting, and biometric distance measurements, where precise proximity sensing is essential.
