Mikroe Compass 5 Click

Mikroe Compass 5 Click has a 3-axis magnetometer device suitable for compass applications. Mikroe Compass 5 Click features the AKM Semiconductor AK09918C 3-axis electronic compass with highly sensitive Hall sensor technology. The board is an I2C configurable compass incorporating magnetic sensors for detecting terrestrial magnetism in the X-, Y-, and Z-axes. The board is equipped with a magnetic overflow monitor function, a sensor driving circuit, a signal amplifier chain, a self-test function, and an arithmetic circuit for processing the signal from the sensor. The board is suitable for map heading-up purposes to realize the pedestrian navigation function.
