Microchip Technology EV83F07A Evaluation Board
Microchip Technology EV83F07A Evaluation Board is a two-layered board designed to demonstrate the drive capabilities of the MCP8027 3-phase BLDC motor gate driver. This board provides a buck converter, current sense operational amplifiers, 5V and 12V LDO, high-to-low-level voltage translators, and Hall effect sensor inputs. The EV83F07A board consists of six on-board LEDs for signaling the Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) presence and an LED for the fault status indication. This evaluation board can drive a BLDC motor with up to 28V supply voltage and motor current of up to 20ARMS.The EV83F07A board features an ON/OFF momentary contact switch (RUN), spare user-programmable momentary contact switch (PB1), reset momentary contact switch (RST), and speed control potentiometer. This board offers Under-Voltage Lock-out (UVLO) and Over-Voltage Lock-out (OVLO) protections. The EV83F07A board is used in the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) control, hobby aircraft, and ventilation motors.
