KEMET AEC-Q200 Polymer Capacitors (KO-CAP®)

KEMET Organic Capacitors (KO-CAP®) are solid electrolytic capacitors with a conductive polymer cathode, capable of delivering low ESR and improved capacitance retention at high frequencies. The KO-CAP design combines the multilayer ceramic's low ESR, aluminum electrolytic's high capacitance, and tantalum's volumetric efficiency into a single surface-mount package. 

These devices offer full AEC-Q200 qualification and enable automotive segment designers to take advantage of the polymer technology. Depending on the module, specific capacitors can withstand temperatures up to +150°C. KEMET KO-CAP capacitors are manufactured in an ISO TS 16949-certified plant and are subjected to PPAP/PSW and change control. Applications include infotainment, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), safety, and powertrain.
