Jonard Tools FOD-2000 Fiber Optic Drop Cable Slitters

Jonard Tools FOD-2000 Fiber Optic Drop Cable Slitters are patent pending tools that simplify the slitting of drop cable jackets at the end of the cable or mid-span (for Flat Cables). The National Society of Professional Engineers cited the FOD-2000 as one of the most efficient tools today for technicians to safely prepare flat fiber optic drop cables typically found in fiber-in-the-home networks.

The Jonard Tools FOD-2000 puts a slit on both sides of the jacket allowing easy access to the fiber or strength member. To use this unique tool, simply position the tool around the cable, pull, and slit. The Jonard Tools FOD-2000 Fiber Optic Drop Cable Slitter comes completely assembled with two blades, which can be reversed once the blades are worn. Replacement blades are also available under part number FOD-RB25 for a package of 25 blades.
