Infineon Technologies EZ-BLE™ PRoC™ BT 4.2 Evaluation Board
Infineon Technologies EZ-BLE™ PRoC™ BT 4.2 Evaluation Board lets users develop and evaluate applications featuring the EZ-BLE PRoC BT 4.2 Module. The Infineon BLUETOOTH® module featured on the kit enables three critical features of the Bluetooth 4.2 standard: data length extension, privacy, and enhanced security. These Bluetooth 4.2 features are essential for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The module is drop-in compatible with Cypress 128KB / 256KB flash memory Bluetooth 4.1 modules.
To use the EZ-BLE™ PRoC™ Evaluation Board, the user must use the CY8CKIT-002 Miniprog3 or the CY8CKIT-042-BLE BLE Pioneer Kit.
On The Board
Cypress EZ-BLE PRoC Module is a fully certified and qualified module supporting Bluetooth 4.2 wireless communication. This module is a turnkey solution and includes onboard crystal oscillators, chip antenna, passive components, and Cypress PRoC BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy). This module supports several peripheral functions (analog-to-digital converter, timers, counters, pulse width modulator) and serial communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI) through its programmable architecture.
