Analog Devices Inc. OP275 Dual Bipolar/JFET Audio Amplifier
Analog Devices OP275 Dual Bipolar/JFET Audio Operational Amplifier features the Butler Amplifier front-end design that combines bipolar and junction gate field-effect transistors. The design enables accuracy and low-noise performance of bipolar transistors with JFETs' speed and sound quality at less than 5mA of supply current, lower than any standard audio amplifier. The amplifier's total harmonic distortion, in addition to noise, equals that of previous versions but at much lower supply currents. The OP275 JFET portion of the input stage enables high slew rates to keep distortion low, even when large output swings are required. The amplifier's 22V/µs slew rate is faster than standard audio amplifiers.Features
