Advanced Energy / Trek 520 Series Portable Electrostatic Voltmeters
Advanced Energy / Trek 520 Series Portable Electrostatic Voltmeters offer surface voltage measurements that are essentially independent of the sensor probe-to-measured surface spacing, an issue encountered in typical handheld field meters. The Trek 520 (±2kV) and Trek 523 (±20kV) are both chopper stabilized for drift-free operation in ionized environments. These voltmeters accurately measure surface voltage at a wide range of spacings, and there is no need to maintain a fixed spacing. The series is available in two variants: the 520-1 with a digital meter to display the measured voltage and the 520-2 with both a digital display and an analog output monitor, which can be used to record the measured voltage or view it on an oscilloscope. Advanced Energy / Trek 520 Series Portable Electrostatic Voltmeters come with an NIST-traceable certificate of calibration.
