Analog Devices / Maxim Integrated Himalaya uSLIC™ Power Modules
Analog Devices Himalaya uSLIC™ Power Modules are step-down DC-DC power modules that use advanced packaging technology to offer micro-sized system-level IC (uSLIC) modules. The modules accept an input voltage range from 4.0V to 60V. Ideal for space-constrained systems, the Himalaya uSLIC Power Modules comply with the JESD22-B103/B104/B111 mechanical standard. To improve the first-time success rate for EMI certification of end products, the Himalayas are in compliance with the CISPR 22 electromagnetic interference (EMI) standard. The Power Modules incorporate a synchronous wide-input Himalaya buck converter with built-in MOSFETs, compensation, and more functions, and an inductor. Combined, these components result in ultra-small power modules that are a "plug-and-play" power supply solution. Analog Devices Himalaya uSLIC™ Power Modules are 1.6x more efficient than the LDO and reduce the total power dissipation to less than 1/4.
