Microchip Technology MCP3914B 3V Eight-Channel Analog Front Ends (AFEs)

Microchip Technology MCP3914B 3V Eight-Channel Analog Front Ends (AFEs) feature 24-bit eight synchronous-sampling Delta-Sigma Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs). These AFEs include eight PGAs, a phase-delay compensation block, a low-drift internal voltage reference, digital offset, gain-error calibration registers, and a high-speed 20MHz SPI-compatible serial interface. The MCP3914B ADCs are fully configurable with 16/24-bit resolution, 32 to 4096 OSR, 1x to 32x gain, independent shutdown and reset, dithering, and auto-zeroing. These AFEs incorporate advanced security features to protect communications and configuration settings, including a CRC-16 checksum on serial data outputs and the static register map configuration. The MCP3914B  AFEs are available in a 40-lead UQFN package and an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Typical applications include polyphase energy meters, energy metering and power measurement, automotive, portable instrumentation, medical and power monitoring, and audio/voice recognition.
