Microchip WiFly™ RN-111b WLAN Serial Embedded Module - INACTIVE

The Microchip's WiFly™ RN-111b WLAN Serial Embedded Module enables wireless connections to any legacy serial port and supports bi-directional RS-232 signaling at a rate of up to 921 Kbps. The WiFly module attaches to a device's RS232/EIA232 port and connects simply by being plugged in. The transmit range is up to 330 feet depending on environmental considerations. This Microchip device features an ultra-low power mode with 40 mA average RX and 120 ma TX burst current usage. This WLAN serial embedded module also includes embedded stacks with TCP/UDP/IP sockets and requires no host or processor stacks.
