1418 Type 4 Mild Steel Enclosures

Hammond Manufacturing 1418 Series Type 4 Mild Steel Enclosures are designed according to CSA and UL 508A Type 3R, 4, and 12 standards and comply with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 12, and 13, and IEC 60529 (IP66) requirements. These wall-mount and free-standing enclosures feature a seamless poured-in-place gasket and smooth, continuously welded seams without knockouts, cutouts, or holes. Also included are a bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud inside. Hammond Manufacturing 1418 Series Type 4 Mild Steel Enclosures safely house instruments, electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring enclosures, and electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic controls. These 1418 series Type 4 enclosures offer protection where equipment may be hosed down or become extremely wet. The enclosures are also ideal for applications subject to corrosion and outdoor applications for full weather protection.
