EMC/EMI Components for Medical Devices

TE Connectivity / Schaffner EMC/EMI Components for Medical Devices offer a 250VAC to 3000VAC voltage range and a 1A to 2300A rating, depending on the model. These EMC/EMI Components offer a cost-effective approach with safety in mind while complying with various industry standards, including UL/CSA/IEC/EN. TE Connectivity / Schaffner EMC/EMI Components are ideal for CAT scanners, defibrillators, laboratory equipment, and X-ray equipment. 

RN EMC/EMI Chokes

TE Connectivity / Schaffner RN current-compensated EMC/EMI Chokes attenuate common-mode or asymmetric (P/N to E) interference signals via connection to an AC powerline input. Features and benefits of TE Connectivity / Schaffner's RN Series current-compensated Chokes include high saturation resistance and excellent thermal behavior, through-hole pin connections, dual-choke configuration, small compact design, multiple housing options, and custom-specific versions available upon request. These chokes offer rated currents from 0.3A to 10A, DC to 1kHz frequency, and 100kHz to 3MHz common-mode resonance frequency. Typical applications for RN Chokes are phase-angle control circuits in combination with saturating chokes, EMI input filters, suppressing equipment with no earth connection, and suppressing high interference levels.
