P-S-LRP Asymmetrical Discrete Thyristors

Littelfuse P-S-LRP Asymmetrical Discrete Thyristors are SIDACtor® components designed to protect LCAS (Line Circuit Access Switch) devices from damaging overvoltage transients. The components provide a specialized asymmetrical overvoltage protection solution that enables equipment to comply with various global regulatory standards. Surge capability does not degrade after multiple surge events within limit. The DO-14 package thyristors feature LCAS specific tip and ring thresholds, low voltage overshoot, low on-state voltage, and fails short circuit when surged in excess of ratings. Littelfuse P-S-LRP devices are RoHS compliant, lead-free, and halogen-free.

LCAS SIDACtor Protection Thyristors

Littelfuse LCAS SIDACtor Protection Thyristors focus on the specialized protection needs of Line Circuit Access Switches (LCAS). SIDACtor components are solid state crowbar devices with a patented ion implant technology that ensures effective protection within nanoseconds. The LCAS thyristors utilize a specialized asymmetric design specially formulated for LCAS devices. The Littelfuse components provide an overvoltage protection solution that helps applications comply with Telcordia GR-1089 Issue 4, and ITU-T recommendations K.20, K.21, K.44, and K.45.

SIDACtor® Protection Thyristors
