Amphenol Advanced Sensors Coolant Leak Detection Sensors detect coolant leakage via a change in resistance value. With the sharp growth of electric vehicles (EVs), many OEMs are using cooling systems for their battery systems, and a leak in the Li-ion battery packs could prove to be a dangerous situation. When a change in resistance value is received, the sensors will relay a notification signal so actions can be taken to prevent permanent damage or even unsafe conditions. Amphenol Advanced Sensors Coolant Leak Detection Sensors are easy to install and RoHS compliant.
