Analog Devices Inc. LTM4663 Ultrathin μModule® TEC Regulator

Analog Devices Inc. LTM4663 Ultrathin μModule® Thermo-Electric Cooler (TEC) Regulator combines a TEC controller, linear power stage, switching regulator, inductor, and all support components in a tiny LGA package. Operating over an input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, the LTM4663 supports a 1.5A continuous sink/source current capability. Only input and output capacitors are needed. The LTM4663 has two self-correcting, auto-zeroing amplifiers (Chopper 1 and Chopper 2) to serve as the thermistor input amplifier and the temperature feedback control loop.

The LTM4663 supports NTC/PTC thermistors and Resistive Temperature Detectors (RTD). The maximum cooling/heating currents and maximum TEC voltage can be programmed independently.

The LTM4663 μModule TEC Regulator is offered in a compact, RoHS-compliant 3.5mm x 4.0mm x 1.3mm LGA25 package, with a wide -55°C to +125°C operating temperature range.
