Analog Devices Smart Energy Harvesting and Low Power FCI Design helps compact layout and reduces design complexity. Industry-leading, ultralow power performance allows for low power consumption over the full system signal chain. Fault circuit indicators (FCIs) are important for energy harvesting, power management, processors, AFE circuits, and communication interface devices. Smart energy harvesting and management, along with ultralow power consumption, are critical for new designs.

Microcontrollers

Analog Devices Microcontroller Units (MCUs) can be used in a multitude of Internet of Things (IoT) processing applications. With built-in ADCs, DACs, and temperature sensors, the microcontrollers provide the analog and digital sensing functions that support interpreting capabilities in precision-sensing applications. Some of these MCUs can be powered by a single coin-cell battery with on-board power management, along with embedded memory and security features to help protect IP. These microcontrollers can be used in industrial, automotive, and instrumentation applications, as well as IoT applications such as Smart Agriculture, Smart Building, Smart City, Smart Factory, and Smart Health.

ADuCM3027/ADuCM3029 Arm® Cortex®-M3 MCUs

Analog Devices ADuCM3027/ADuCM3029 ARM® Cortex®-M3 MCUs are ultra-low power microcontroller systems with integrated power management for processing, control, and connectivity. The ADuCM3027/ADuCM3029 MCUs are based on a 32-bit RISC ARM Cortex-M3 processor capable of running up to 26MHz. The MCUs have up to 256KB of embedded flash memory with error correction code (ECC). The ADuCM3027/ADuCM3029 ARM Cortex-M3 MCUs also offer a collection of digital peripherals and an analog subsystem. The analog subsystem provides clocking, reset, and power management capabilities. To support low-dynamic and hibernate power management, the ADuCM3027/ADuCM3029 MCUs offer a range of power modes and features. These include dynamic and software controlled clock gating and power gating.
