AD590 2-Terminal IC Temperature Transducers

Analog Devices AD590 2-terminal IC Temperature Transducers produce an output current proportional to absolute temperature. The devices act as a high impedance (>10MΩ), constant current regulator passing 1μA/K, specifically for supply voltages between 4V and 30V. The cost of a monolithic integrated circuit combined with the elimination of support circuitry makes AD590 ideal alternatives for many temperature measurement situations. AD590 can be used in any temperature-sensing application below 150°C in which conventional electrical temperature sensors are employed. AD590 are available in die form, making them suitable for hybrid circuits and fast temperature measurements in protected environments.

Analog Temperature Sensors

Analog Devices analog temperature sensors deliver current or voltage output proportional to the absolute temperature with an accuracy rating of up to ±1°C. The analog temperature sensors eliminate the need for external calibration with minimal signal conditioning/conversion circuitry.
